ï‚· Preparing bill of quantities for a proposed construction projects.
ï‚· Pricing/forecasting the cost of different materials needed for the proposed construction project.
ï‚· Preparation of tender documents, contract documents and other necessary documents for contractors going for tender on any proposed project.
ï‚· Liaising with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers on choice of maximizing the execution cost of a project.
ï‚· Procuring/agreeing the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of a project.
ï‚· Preparing interim valuation on work done on site to ascertain payment due to the contractor and/or sub-contractors.
ï‚· Site visitation to check-mate the progress of work on site and ensuring that work is done in accordance to the prepared Bill of Quantities.
ï‚· Giving report on site meeting as feedback to the Chief Quantity Surveyor.
